Condition Grading

One of the fundamental concerns of purchasers of rare recordings is the reliable indication of a record’s condition. When I began Polyphony, I made the accurate description of condition my first priority:

• If necessary, records professionally (VPI) cleaned and provided with new inner sleeves
• Condition graded by listening to the records, not just by visual examination
• Condition graded conservatively
• Customer satisfaction with condition grades is guaranteed on all records I sell.

Returns from customers consistently total less than one-half of one percent of items shipped. My customers know that they can rely on Polyphony's grades for an accurate evaluation! Detailed information regarding Polyphony's grading system is included at the beginning of each catalog.
